What it's about: :

The movie Jio Pagla is about four friends who only create more problems while they think they are solving the existing ones. When four young fun loving boys [isshu Sengupta, Soham Chakraborty, Hiraan Chatterjee , Bonny Sengupta] begin a crazy house hunt which takes them through a series of ultra comical hurdles in a bid to find that one roof that can tolerate and shelter their combined problems? In search for new accommodations these crazy friends manage to convince their landlord played by Anuradha to keep them as paying guests, but he has only one condition i.e. he only wants couples. They say yes to his conditions, when all of them are bachelors. Who will play the wives? And how?The new drama triggers a series of confusions that build into rich complexity of mistaken identities and a climax of comic wizardries. Jio Pagla is a fast paced rip roaring comedy to be enjoyed by the entire family.

Jio Pagla Review: Star Performances & Direction :

Jisshu Sengupta, gives his best and so does Soham Chakraborty they crack everyone up quite easily. Bonny Sengupta has improved by leaps and bounds , he does have good screen presence too. Hiran Chaterjee is strictly ok. The comic timing that the four exudes is simply superlative. Of all the girls, Srabanti overdoes her part, Payel get the meatiest of roles and they do not disappoint. Koushani and Rittika add glam value... Anuradha and Biswajit Chakraborty as the couple are brilliant in their roles and are very enjoyable.Kanchan Mallick,Shankar Chakraborty, Supriyo Dutta and others offer good support.

Director Ravi Kinnagi delivers on his promise of an entertaining package. Although he could have made the drama sharper, and hence, more entertaining, one cannot really complain much about his narrative style. Some songs in the film act as fillers; others take the story forward. title track songs are nice. Jeet Ganguly’s music is fine. ’ lyrics are alright. Choreography, by Baba Yadav, is commendable. The background score is effective. cinematography is functional. editing is sharp. Technically, the film is very good. .

Review: The Last Word:

On the whole, Jio Pagla is an entertaining . It could have been better, but one can’t really complain as one comes out of the theatre smiling.Go for it! It’s Diwali .
