ABOUT ANIRBAN BHATTACHARYA
Born on 7 October 1986 in
Midnapore, West Bengal, Anirban Bhattacharya developed an interest
in theatre and performance at an early age. He later moved to Kolkata
and studied Drama at Rabindra Bharati
University.
In 2009, he received the
Young Artist Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture,
Government of India. In 2010, he joined the
Minerva Repertoire as a
professional theatre actor.
His theatre career became an important foundation for his later work
in Bengali cinema. Productions such as
Debi Sarpamasta, Athhoi,
Awdyo Shesh Rajani, Karubashona, FM Mahanagar and other
stage works established him as a performer with a strong theatrical
vocabulary.
In cinema, Anirban has appeared in films including
Eagoler Chokh, Dhananjoy,
Ek Je Chhilo Raja, Shah Jahan Regency, Bibaho Obhijaan,
