Ankush Hazra is one of the popular contemporary faces of Bengali cinema,
known for his energetic screen presence, dance skills, comic timing and
versatility across romantic, action and comedy roles. From his debut in
Kellafate to films such as Idiot, Kanamachi, Zulfiqar, Villain,
Bibaho Obhijaan and Mirza, he has built a diverse career in Bengali
mainstream entertainment.

ABOUT ANKUSH HAZRA

Born on 14 February 1989 in
Bardhaman, West Bengal, Ankush Hazra completed his schooling in Kolkata
and later pursued a BBA from Heritage Academy.

He made his acting debut with the 2010 Bengali action-comedy
Kellafate. He subsequently rose
to wider popularity with films such as
Idiot, Kanamachi,
Khiladi and
Ami Shudhu Cheyechi Tomay.

Over the years, Ankush has worked across romance, comedy, action,
thriller and ensemble films. His notable projects include
Zulfiqar, Haripada Bandwala,
Kelor Kirti, Jamai 420, Bolo Dugga Maiki, Villain and
Bibaho Obhijaan.

In 2022, he launched Ankush Hazra Motion
Pictures, expanding his career into film production. His
production journey became closely associated with the
Mirza franchise.
