Hoichoi Studios recently unveiled the exciting trailer for their maiden production venture, “Badami Hyenar Kobole,” promising a unique addition to Bengali cinema. Directed by Debaloy Bhattacharya, this pulp fiction detective comedy brings together a stellar cast, including Abir Chatterjee and Paran Bandopadhaya in lead roles, alongside Shruti Das and Pratik Dutta playing key characters.
Based on the works of pulp-fiction writer Samarendranath Pandey, also known as Swapan Kumar, the 2-minute and 46-second trailer gives viewers a glimpse into the intriguing relationship between Dipak Chatterjee (played by Abir Chatterjee) and the writer Swapan Kumar (played by Paran Bandyopadhyay). The film explores the dynamic where Swapan sees Dipak as the hero of his books, while Dipak dismisses Swapan’s works as mere cheap detective novels.
The storyline revolves around Dipak Chatterjee’s mission to save the city from the enigmatic Badami Hyena, promising an engaging mystery that will unfold on the big screen.
