Cricketing legend Sourav Ganguly has stepped into the world of fashion with the launch of his premium ethnic wear brand, ‘Souragya’, in collaboration with Myntra Jabong India Pvt. Ltd. (MJIPL). Timed perfectly with the Durga Puja festivities, the collection brings together the cultural richness of Bengal with contemporary design, offering a stylish and modern take on traditional Indian wear.
Under the licensing agreement, Myntra (MJIPL) will provide its design expertise, brand-building capabilities, and fashion insights to Souragya. The debut collection features nearly 100 premium ethnic styles, including sherwanis, kurtas, dhotis, churidars, and kurta sets, designed to appeal to today’s fashion-conscious consumers while staying rooted in Indian tradition.
The range celebrates Bengal’s artistic legacy with Kantha embroidery, Tant and Jamdani weaves, and Batik prints, while also introducing ceremonial styles like the mayurpankh dhoti with kurta and gamcha-inspired designs. Crafted with fine fabrics and intricate detailing, the line is designed to balance tradition, luxury, and versatility, making it suitable for festive occasions, weddings, and modern-day celebrations.
Speaking about the launch, Sourav Ganguly said:
“Souragya is my tribute to our culture and craftsmanship. The collection blends timeless Indian artistry with a modern aesthetic, making ethnic wear relevant to the new generation. With Myntra’s expertise, this vision has become a reality.”

Suman Saha, CXO & Head of House of Brands, MJIPL, added:
“We are delighted to collaborate with Sourav Ganguly to launch Souragya. This collection strengthens our premium ethnic wear portfolio and offers customers festive-ready styles with cultural depth and contemporary appeal.”
With Souragya, Sourav Ganguly extends his leadership from cricket to fashion, redefining premium Indian ethnic wear. The collection is now available exclusively on the Myntra app and website.
