Bent of Mind Celebrates Durga Puja with Launch of New Music Video ‘ Dugga Elo Gouri Elo ‘

Bent of Mind, a newly established music label founded by Subhamoy Sarkar and Priyam Das, has proudly released its first original music video, “Dugga Elo Gouri Elo”, in celebration of Durga Puja. The music video is now streaming on YouTube and available on leading audio platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Gaana, Wynk Music, and Saavan.

Composed and written by the talented Monojit Nandi and voiced by the emerging artist Kajari Mimi Roy, “Dugga Elo Gouri Elo” serves as a heartfelt tribute to the spirit of Ma Durga, capturing the essence of joy and togetherness synonymous with the festival. The music video also features the dynamic dancer and social media influencer, Bidipta Sharma, adding a vibrant visual appeal to the project.

Commenting on the launch, Subhamoy Sarkar expressed his excitement, stating, “Working on ‘Dugga Elo Gouri Elo’ has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The collaborative effort of Monojit, Mimi, and Sayan has resulted in something truly special. I believe this song and video will resonate deeply with audiences, celebrating the spirit of tradition and joy.”

Priyam Das shared a similar sentiment, adding, “Bringing ‘Dugga Elo Gouri Elo’ to life has been a labor of love. The visuals and storytelling reflect the deep emotions tied to the festival, and I am immensely proud of what we have created. I hope viewers feel the same sense of joy and connection that we felt throughout the production process.”

Bent of Mind, which started as a band 10 years ago, has now evolved into a music label with a vision of creating and promoting original content. Over the next year, the label plans to focus exclusively on producing its own music before exploring external content collaborations.

Reflecting on the deeper message of the music video, the duo founders emphasized, “In these turbulent times for Bengal and the nation, we, as artists, aim to highlight the importance of honoring women as the true embodiment of Ma Durga. In Bengali, we call an idol ‘Protima,’ which symbolizes every mother. Before we worship an idol, we should remember to respect and worship every woman, for they are the true creators of this world.”

The duo promises to bring more original tracks in the near future and invites audiences to stay tuned for more captivating compositions from Bent of Mind.
