Keu Bole Biplobi Keu Bole Dakat is a Bengali historical action drama directed by Pathikrit Basu and based on the life of Bengali revolutionary Ananta Singh.

Story & Premise
The story revolves around Ananta Singh, a revolutionary who fought for India’s independence alongside figures including Master-da Surya Sen and Pritilata Waddedar.
After India achieves independence, Ananta encounters a dramatically changing social and political reality. The freedom he and his fellow revolutionaries fought for does not appear to have reached everyone in the way they imagined.
A series of daring robberies shocks 1960s Kolkata, all connected to the mysterious Ananta. Once a freedom fighter, he now wages his own war against corruption and injustice.
The film asks a provocative question: How does a revolutionary become a dacoit?
It explores the grey area between heroism, rebellion, crime and social injustice while following Ananta’s transformation from revolutionary to outlaw.

Jeet Delivers an Outstanding Performance
Keu Bole Biplobi Keu Bole Dakat is an ambitious Bengali historical action drama that explores the life, ideals and transformation of revolutionary Ananta Singh.
The biggest strength of the film is undoubtedly Jeet, who delivers a deeply committed performance in the lead role. His physicality, emotional intensity and screen presence give the character considerable weight.
Tota Roy Chowdhury is equally impressive as a police officer, bringing authority and restraint to his character while creating an effective dramatic counterpoint to Jeet.
The supporting cast, including Loknath Dey, Kaushik Sen, Chandan Sen and Debattama Saha, contribute effectively to the overall experience.
Shantanu Moitra’s music is another major positive. The songs fit the period setting and emotional world of the film, while the cinematography and action successfully support its scale and atmosphere.
The main weakness is the screenplay. Some portions feel uneven, there are a few logical gaps and the opening 15–20 minutes feel noticeably slow.
