Amaladityas Films and Creative Works is all set to present Sheshbela, a new Bengali drama film directed by Rohan Sen and starring Surangana Bandyopadhyay and Satyam Bhattacharya. The film explores themes of love, silence, and sacrifice in a quiet village backdrop, promising a cinematic experience rich in emotion and subtle storytelling.
Produced by Keshabananda Mukherjee and Mithun Chakraborty (not the actor), Sheshbela follows the story of Swapna (played by Surangana), a simple girl with a troubled past, who finds an unspoken bond with her schoolteacher Rupak (Satyam Bhattacharya). Their relationship blooms silently, revealing a love story that doesn’t rely on words but on shared pain and quiet strength.
The story is penned by Adityanath Mukhopadhyay, with the screenplay developed by Keshabananda Mukhopadhyay, Anubhab Ghosh, and Rohan Sen. The film’s visuals are captured by DOP Saswata Majumder, while Ishan Mitra lends his musical talent to the soundtrack. Editing is handled by Sayantan Nag, known for his tight narrative work.

Also featuring Durbar Sharma in a key role, Sheshbela highlights the depth of human emotions against the backdrop of rural Bengal. With rising stars and fresh storytelling, the film aims to resonate with both young and mature audiences.
