Global footwear and lifestyle brand Skechers marked a new milestone in Kolkata with the unveiling of its expanded 2,453 sq. ft. store at South City Mall, nearly three times larger than its previous outlet. The inauguration was led by Bollywood actor and Skechers’ new brand ambassador Kartik Aaryan, making his first appearance for the brand.
The store now offers Skechers’ complete lifestyle and performance footwear range, an expanded apparel collection, and a dedicated sports section. It also debuts East India’s first Skechers digital façade, setting a benchmark for retail innovation in the region.
As part of the launch, Skechers hosted the 10th edition of its Community Goal Challenge, where participants collectively achieved 1,000 km on treadmills, inspired by Aaryan. To mark this milestone, the company donated 100 pairs of children’s footwear to the Khel Foundation, a Kolkata-based NGO supporting underprivileged young athletes through scholarships and training.
