Durga Puja in Bengal is not only about devotion but also a celebration of creativity and community spirit. This year, the Sharad Srijoni Samman and Khushee – A Helping Hand come together to honour artistry and extend compassion to underprivileged lives.
Launched in 2013, the Sharad Srijoni Samman has been recognising excellence in Durga Puja artistry – from pandal design and idols to social messaging. This year, two new categories have been introduced:

Sharad Srijoni Chitralekhan Shilpi for Puja publicity design
Sharad Srijoni Special Jury Award for timeless devotion and creativity
For the first time, housing society Pujas can also participate, making the honour more inclusive.
On the social front, Khushee, initiated by India Greens Reality Pvt. Ltd., has been working across India to uplift underprivileged communities through education, culture, and environmental action. From planting 50,000 trees after Cyclone Amphan to supporting families during COVID-19, Khushee continues to spread hope. This year, it launches “Unmesh”, a new program to nurture young talent in education, sports, and culture with long-term support.
Together, the Sharad Srijoni Samman and Khushee embody the spirit of Durga Puja – celebrating creativity while building a compassionate future.
