The event took place at Shree Siddhivinayak Devasthanam Mandir, Kolkata.Gracing the occasion was Surojit Chatterjee, Arjun Chakraborty, and other guests.Rituparna, Arjun, and Surojit also offered their prayers to Lord Ganesh at the temple.This song also marks the celebration of the golden jubilee year of Bappi Lahiri in the music industry.
“I am honored that I could work with Bappi da when he is celebrating his golden jubilee year in the music industry. I was in Mumbai shooting when I got a call from him. He asked me to sing this song. I was not sure whether I could sing the song. He said that I could do this. He was so sweet and kind that he waited for me and we recorded the song late at night. The recording was done in two days. On the first day, we rehearsed the song, and on the second day, we recorded the song. It was an amazing experience” said Rituparna Sengupta at the song launch of Phoolmoti.
“I am flabbergasted and mesmerized at the fact that Ritu (Rituparna) could sing so well. I know that she can do anything she sets her mind to and this time also she has lived up to our expectations. I wish her all the best and hope she pursues this in the future too” said Arjun Chakraborty.
