Olympic medallist and badminton icon Saina Nehwal graced the Times School Survey West Bengal 2025, organised by Optimal Media Solutions, a division of The Times of India Group, to celebrate academic excellence across the state.
The event, attended by educators, policymakers, and school leaders, recognised institutions excelling in academics, co-curricular activities, and holistic student development. The winners were selected through an independent evaluation by Advance Insights Pvt. Ltd., ensuring transparency and credibility.
Addressing the gathering, Saina Nehwal said, “I hope I can motivate many more youngsters to get into sports and achieve big medals for India. Thank you so much.”

Actress Mimi Chakraborty also lauded teachers, saying, “Without you, we wouldn’t be here. Parents are our first teachers, but school teachers leave an everlasting impact.”
