Eye Within Art to Host Landmark Art Auction in Kolkata

Eye Within Art is set to host its inaugural art auction from July 16 to 18, 2026, bringing together rare historical treasures and works by celebrated Indian masters.

A major highlight of the auction will be a rare autograph book of acclaimed singer Geeta Roy, featuring original writings and personal notes by legendary figures including Rabindranath Tagore and Abanindranath Tagore. The auction will also showcase works by prominent Bengal painters and notable modern Indian artists. 

An exclusiv live preview will be held at JW Marriott Kolkata on July 16 and 17, while the digital auction will run until July 18, allowing collectors worldwide to participate.

Ahead of the auction, a special press meet is scheduled for July 9 at The Eye Within Club, with leading artists including Samir Aich, Shuvaprasanna, Sanatan Dinda and Tapas Sarkar expected to attend.

The landmark event marks a significant milestone in Eye Within Art’s journey to preserve and celebrate India’s rich artistic heritage.
