Set against the backdrop of a stormy night in 1960s Bengal, Bhuto Purbo is an anthology of three chilling tales rooted in classic Bengali literature:

1. Monihara – Based on Rabindranath Tagore’s haunting short story, this tale explores greed, guilt, and the ghost of a woman obsessed with jewelry.

2. Taranath Tantrik – Inspired by Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay’s mystical character, this story follows a spiritual healer whose dark past resurfaces.

3. Shikar – Adapted from Manoj Sen’s suspenseful story, it follows a charming conman whose perfect crime spirals into supernatural horror.
