Kolkata: Sunny Pearls School, Kestopur, celebrated its 22nd Annual Function on Saturday, 31st January, at EZCC, Salt Lake, with great enthusiasm and joy. The event witnessed the presence of nearly a thousand attendees, including students, parents, teachers, and guests, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere.
The school was founded in 2004 by Biplab Ghosh and Tapasi Ghosh in memory of their son Sunny, who tragically passed away in 2001 at the age of 19. Since then, the kindergarten English-medium institution has been nurturing young talents and shaping bright futures.
Students actively participated in various cultural performances, including dance, music, and drama, filling the auditorium with excitement and cheer. Teachers also showcased their talents through performances, adding to the spirit of the celebration.
As part of the tradition, the “Sunny Samman 26” awards were presented to actor and writer Barun Chanda and actor-singer Arindam Ganguly. Theatre personality Rita Ghoshal and School President Debabrata Ghosh were also present and shared their thoughts during the program. Arindam Ganguly captivated the audience with a soulful musical performance.
Chief Mentor Biplab Ghosh and Principal Tapasi Ghosh highlighted the school’s achievements and milestones. The event was smoothly anchored by coordinators Ramyani and Ritanita. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Biplab Ghosh.
