Born 2 Dance: Celebrating Dance Excellence in Kolkata – Grand Finale Unveils Winners

Born 2 Dance – Dancer’s Paradise concluded with a spectacular grand finale at Dhono Dhanyo Auditorium in Kolkata. The championship, India’s biggest dance competition, brought together aspiring dancers from around the world and showcased their incredible talent. The event was graced by renowned personalities from the entertainment industry, including Terence Lewis, Bollywood Choreographer, Saurabh Bangani and Vivek Jaiswal, both known for their fame on “Dance India Dance” (DID), as well as Trina Saha, Neel Bhattacharya, Kamlesh Patel, RJ Praveen, and many other eminent guests.

Saurabh and Vivek, known for their DID fame, shared their thoughts with the media, expressing their appreciation for the high level of competition in Born 2 Dance. They emphasized the challenging journey contestants went through, highlighting the difficulty of judging such exceptional talent. They announced the “Champion of Champions” and awarded them a prestigious trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 1 Lakh. Their experience from various reality shows inspired them to create Born 2 Dance, aiming to provide a platform for aspiring dancers worldwide to hone their skills and potentially participate in future reality shows. The event saw over 5000 participants and included a three-day dance carnival from September 1st to 3rd, 2023.

Terence Lewis, a renowned Bollywood choreographer, praised Born 2 Dance as the brainchild of Saurabh and Vivek, who themselves had successful journeys on reality shows like DID Doubles. He underlined the event’s primary goal of discovering and nurturing deserving dance talents on a global scale, offering them an early break in their professional careers and the opportunity to perform in front of leading experts in the field, taking dance to new heights.

The winners of the Grand Finale were:

  • Champion of Champions – YogiHimu (Duet)
  • Solo A (3 years to 8 years) – 1st place: Sayan Dyuti Bhowmick, 2nd place: Aashi Harish Punikar, 3rd place: Pahel Thakkar
  • Solo B (9 years to 15 years) – 1st place: Baldev Singh, 2nd place: Soumyajit Pal, 3rd place: Subhangee Das
  • Solo C (16 years onwards) – 1st place: Sushant Singh, 2nd place: Subhashish Mullick, 3rd place (Tie): Bhushan Tandekar + Souvik Mondal
  • Duet (No Age Limit) – 1st place: YogiHimu, 2nd place: Amazing buddies (Satyam & Simran), 3rd place: Kuntal & Bhaskar
  • Group (Minimum 3) – 1st place: The Flow India, 2nd place: The Dark Dynasty, 3rd place (Tie): UD gang + Astraa Dance & Fitness Center
  • Mom & Grand Mom – 1st place: Kaberi Roy, 2nd place: Mun Mun Roy, 3rd place: Nisha Upadhyay

The Born 2 Dance – Dancer’s Paradise championship has not only celebrated extraordinary dance talent but also offered a platform for budding dancers to kickstart their careers in the world of entertainment.
