Jeet Confirms ‘Lion’ Is Shelved Due to Financial and Political Challenges

Tollywood superstar Jeet’s much-anticipated Indo-Bangladesh project ‘Lion’ is officially not happening for now, with the actor confirming that the film has been shelved.

The project, which was announced as an India-Bangladesh joint venture, had created significant excitement among Bengali cinema audiences. Jeet was expected to collaborate with Bangladeshi filmmaker Raihan Rafi on the film.

However, the project eventually ran into difficulties. Reports indicate that high production costs and financial problems faced by the producer became major obstacles to taking Lion forward.
