Story : On a flight to London, Dhaka-based businessman, Mahid Sheikh (Jeet), meets and falls for Pujarini(Koel ), a research scholar from Kolkata. Everything seems to be going well for the couple until dark secrets from Mahid’s past threaten to resurface and shatter their peaceful world.

Star Performances

Jeet explores various shades in the film, from romance to drama, and nails every single one of it. His dialogue delivery is extraordinary and his body language is just too perfect. He proves yet again that he is like wine, only getting better with age.
He’s high on energy throughout his performance and that goes in his favour. He delivers one of the finest performances of his lifetime & promises every ounce of entertainment. Koel Mallick gives a marvellous performance.

Ritabhari Chakraborty is brilliant! She has been over years and still gets criticized for her acting . She should at least shut some of them with this one.Kheyali Ghosh Dastidar does a fine job.Sourav Das is very effective. The rest of the team plays a very important part and each character does their part well.

Direction & Music

Shesh Theke Shuru was a little different from his regular romantic dramas. When it comes to larger than life stories, nobody beats Raj. He makes STS look gorgeous and not just with London and Kolkata’s locales but also with the enticing costumes his leads are wearing in the film. Certain scenes touch your heart such as the entire “Allah Amar” sequence.

Music by ArkoProvo is excellent and all songs are equally enjoyable on video as they were in the audio.

I am going with a 3.5/5 for the film
