What’s Good: Entertainment with Social message ,impressive performances.

What’s Bad: some scenes go over the top.

Loo Break: Maybe a single in the first half but that levels with a superb interval point as you won’t go out in the mid-break.

Watch or Not?: enjoy twisted plots, then it’s a must watch!

Story : After stumbling across illegal activities in a shady pub, a photojournalist finds her life in jeopardy. The only person standing between the criminal racket and her is a youngster who is a singer at the pub. Can he save her from the imminent danger?

Star Performance

Dev is perfect. He looked confident and lived every inch of his character with apt brilliance screen appearance.

After movies like Champ,Cockpit,Kabir and now this, Rukmini Maitra is an actress we should seriously talk about. We all know she is a natural but proving it with every film, she has a long way to go in tollywood.
Rukmini Maitra delivers an impressive performance as Meghna Chatterjee. For me the biggest take away from the film will be Chandan Sen. He is the best & most natural in the emotional scenes.

Other actors also justify the characters.

Direction, Music:

director Raja Chanda delivers a entertaining film, the bengali industry was waiting for long. Right from the first frame, Kidnap captivates the viewers. At places, the movie seems loud, especially during the action sequences. Also the background score goes overboard.

Speaking about the music, Jeet Ganguly delivers some good tracks , which works well with the situations.

I am going with a 3.5/5 for the film
