Renault India inaugurates its new state-of-the-art dealership in Kolkata

Renault India, one of the fastest growing automotive companies in India, inaugurated its new state-of-the-art dealership, RENAULT KOLKATA SOUTH (Bagaria Motors Pvt. Ltd,) in Kolkata today. The inauguration of the new dealership also marked the launch of the KWID with all new and powerful 1.0L Smart Control efficiency (SCe) Engine. The dealership will offer Renault’s best-in-class products and services to the discerning customers in Kolkata and adjoining areas.

The new dealership will bring Renault’s total presence to 7 sales and 6 after sales outlets in West Bengal (including Bagaria). With this, the pan India network of Renault touches 223 sales outlets and 186 after sales outlets.

Speaking on the inauguration of the new dealership, Mr. Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO & Managing Director, Renault India Operations, said, "Renault is one of the fastest growing automobile brands in India. Our progressive product strategy is bolstered by an aggressive network expansion plan and we aim to reach to 270 dealerships by end of 2016. The launch of our new generation dealership today in Kolkata showcases our commitment towards this objective and we look forward to strengthening our presence in this important market. We are confident that our growing network will cater to the increasing demand for Renault cars in India and will enable customers to enjoy an enhanced ownership experience with the Renault brand.”

The showroom, located at 2/3, Judges Court Road, Alipore in South Kolkata is spread over an area of 3570 sq. ft. which can easily accommodate 5 display cars. The workshop, located at 7A Rameshwar Shaw Road, Park Circus spans over an area of 18,360 sq. ft. comprising of 14 Mechanical & 7 Body shop bays.

The new dealership, inaugurated today has been designed according to the RENAULTSTORE concept. RENAULTSTORE is a new generation of dealerships which have been conceptualized to best address the evolving needs of customers by highlighting the value of the brand, products, services and accessories in a modern and more effective manner.

Staying true to its commitment to keep building on the success of KWID with breakthrough product innovations, Renault India has launched the new KWID 1.0L SCe, which offers a more powerful option to customers looking to purchase cars in the compact hatchback segment. New Renault KWID 1l is offered in 2 variants at an introductory price of INR 403,523.

It is loaded with First-in-segment features like SUV inspired design, 7 inch touchscreen Media Nav system, digital Instrument cluster, one-touch lane change indicator, speed dependent volume control, pro-sense seat belt pretensioners with load limiters.
